How to use the check

  1. Choose your destination, the purpose of your trip, how many days you will stay and your visa situation.
  2. Read each item and its reason. Tick it when you have it ready.
  3. Open any official link shown for your destination to confirm timing and rules.
  4. Print the list or save it as an image so you can check your bag before you leave for the airport.

What this check can and cannot do

The check turns common requirements into a clear list, so you are less likely to forget a document. It cannot know your full situation, and it cannot promise that you will not be questioned. Officers decide case by case.

Items marked Verify depend on your nationality, your purpose or the destination, and they change. Confirm them on the official site before you travel. The saved image is your own reminder, not an official document, so do not present it as proof.

Why officers and airlines ask for these documents

  • They want to see that the purpose of your trip is clear and matches your visa.
  • They want to see that you can pay for the stay and that you plan to return.
  • They compare your answers with your papers, so keep both consistent and truthful.

If you are stopped at the counter

  • Stay calm and polite, and keep your documents with you.
  • Ask for the reason, and note the time, the counter and the officer's name if you can.
  • Do not sign a statement you do not understand.
  • Ask politely for the decision in writing, then follow the steps in our offloading guide.

Questions and answers

Does this checklist guarantee that I will not be offloaded?

No. It helps you prepare, but officers and airlines make the final decision, and no tool can promise an outcome.

Is my information stored or sent anywhere?

No. The checklist is built inside your browser. Nothing is sent to us and nothing is saved.

Do I need every item on the list?

Not always. The list shows what is commonly asked. Your visa, nationality and destination decide what applies to you, so check the official site for items marked Verify.

Which destinations does it cover?

The 15 countries with an arrival card guide on this site, Europe (Schengen), the Gulf and a general option for any other country.

Can I show the saved image to an officer?

No. It is a personal reminder, not an official document. Show your passport, visa, tickets and supporting papers.
