SG Arrival Card: Edit, Group and FamilyWhat ICA Says

General information only

This guide is information, not legal or immigration advice. Rules change, so confirm on the official government site before you travel.

Singapore’s ICA answers these questions on its own help site, so this page leans on that and flags where blogs say something different.

Short answer

ICA says you can update your arrival information in the e-Service through Update a Submission, provided the record has not expired. If something changes, you can also submit a new card: ICA says the earlier submission is superseded by the new one and you do not need to cancel it.

For groups, ICA lists a one-time group submission for up to 10 people in a submission. ICA says group submission is for one trip, not for several.

How to update

  1. Open the SG Arrival Card e-Service (eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard) or the MyICA app.
  2. In the e-Service choose Update a Submission and enter the reference number and passport details. In the app, open the trip record and choose Edit.
  3. Fix the details and resubmit.
  4. Download the PDF or keep the acknowledgement email. ICA says foreign visitors find the DE number in that email.

Group and family

  • Use group submission for people travelling together on one trip.
  • Check every name and passport number, because ICA reminds you the information you submit for your group must be true and accurate.
  • Different trips, different cards. Do not reuse a group submission for another trip.
  • The app: one blog says up to nine members can be added. ICA’s wording is up to 10, so use the portal count.

If your trip is cancelled

ICA has a separate help topic for withdrawing a submitted card after a cancelled or rescheduled trip. The app’s delete button only clears your own record, and deleted records do not retract what you submitted.

Where blogs disagree

One travel site says a submitted card cannot be edited and you must submit again. ICA’s help pages describe updating, and a new submission also works, so both routes end in a valid card. Use the latest acknowledgement.

Questions and answers

Can I edit my SG Arrival Card after submitting?

Yes. ICA says use Update a Submission in the e-Service, provided the record has not expired, or submit a new card that supersedes the old one.

How many people can be on one SG Arrival Card group submission?

ICA lists a group submission of up to 10 people for one trip.

Do I need to cancel my old SG Arrival Card if I submit a new one?

No. ICA says the earlier submission is superseded by the new declaration.
