General information only

This guide is information, not legal or immigration advice. Rules change, so confirm on the official government site before you travel.

Cambodia’s own FAQs answer cost and timing clearly. Family filing is the part that rests on a news report, so it is marked as such.

Short answer

The Ministry of Tourism FAQ says it is completely free through the official website or mobile app, and that arrival.gov.kh is the only official website. Travellers file within 7 days before arrival. A Cambodian embassy FAQ says you cannot submit earlier, and the form is not a visa.

Do visa holders file it

Yes. The official FAQ says all travellers file the e-Arrival Card even if they already hold a visa. For Pakistani passport holders the visa comes first, see our Cambodia page.

Family and groups

A Cambodian news source says the system offers individual and group submissions for foreign visitors. We did not find an official page giving the group size limit, so check the app or site before you fill in for several people, and give each person the same flight and arrival date.

Timing tips

  • Day 7 is the earliest, so filing 3 to 5 days ahead is a sensible middle.
  • Save the QR code as soon as it appears.
  • Mistakes can be edited until officers process the card, see edit or forgot to file.
